Terms of use
Last updated May 28, 2026
These are the ground rules for using Surface, a to-do app made by Revarity. By using it, you're agreeing to them. We've kept it short and in plain English.
What Surface is
Surface helps you capture, sort, and finish your to-dos, with optional AI nudges when you're stuck. It's a tool to help you stay on track — it's not medical, legal, or financial advice.
Your account
Keep your sign-in safe and don't let other people use your account. You're responsible for what happens under it. You need to be at least 13 to use Surface.
Using it fairly
Please don't:
- Break the law or use Surface to harm others.
- Try to break, overload, or hack the app.
- Resell or copy the app as your own.
Your tasks and notes are yours. We don't claim ownership of anything you put into Surface.
The app is provided “as is”
We work hard to keep Surface running well, but we can't promise it will always be perfect or never go down. The AI suggestions are helpful prompts, not guaranteed-correct advice — use your own judgment. Always keep your own backup of anything important (you can download your data anytime from Settings).
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Revarity isn't responsible for indirect losses that come from using — or not being able to use — Surface.
Ending things
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we ever shut Surface down, we'll give you a heads-up and a chance to download your data first.
Changes
If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using Surface after a change, that means you're okay with it.
Which laws apply
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If a disagreement ever comes up, it's handled in the courts of Florida.
